The role · Deal Advisory (remote)

One role, two ways in. Pick the track that matches what you have already done.

Track 1

Technical

For accountants and analysts from a Top 10 network who want the full deal, not one slice of it. Associate to Assistant Manager.

Track 2

Business development and technical

For people who have built something or worked inside a startup, and can hold a room with founders and investors. Manager and above.

Both tracks

A real case study

Every interview includes a Deal Advisory case study. It is the closest thing to the work, so it is how we decide.

Track 1 · Technical

What you bring.

  • Experience from a Top 10 international accounting network.
  • A Deal Advisory specialism: M&A, business valuation, due diligence or forensic accounting.
  • A degree or qualification in accounting, finance or financial engineering (CFA, CVA, CA, ACCA). Progress toward CFA or CVA at any level helps.
  • Sharp critical thinking, clear communication, and a focus on the client and the result.
  • Confident in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding written and spoken English.
  • A team player who learns fast, stays calm under pressure and gets hands-on without being asked.
  • Title by experience: Associate (1–2 years), Senior Associate (3–4 years), Assistant Manager (4–5 years).
Track 2 · Business development and technical

What you bring.

  • Founder experience (you started or co-founded something), or real time inside a startup. This counts for more than Top 10 network tenure.
  • A record of building relationships with founders, investors or senior stakeholders.
  • A finance background or qualification as the foundation (accounting, finance, CFA or CVA progress).
  • The judgement to spot, on your own, numbers or claims in a business that do not hold up.
  • Confident in Excel modelling and in writing reports and presentations.
  • Outstanding written and spoken English.
  • At ease across cultures, time zones and ways of working.
  • Self-directed and comfortable without a fixed playbook.

Before you apply

What candidates ask.

Is the role remote?

Yes. The Deal Advisory role is remote. The firm is based in Singapore and works with clients across Asia and beyond.

What happens after I apply?

You start with a short pre-qualification form. If your experience fits a track, we invite you to interview, and every interview includes a Deal Advisory case study.

Which track should I choose?

Choose by what you have already done. Top 10 network deal experience points to the technical track. Founder or startup experience with a finance foundation points to the business development and technical track.

Who will I work with?

You work directly with Siong Yoong, the founder, who signs the firm’s reports. You learn the work from the person accountable for it.
